Kitty Rawr Font Review

As a handmade seller who spends hours tweaking design elements for product labels and packaging, I was excited to test out Kitty Rawr, the impossibly cute display font that combines groovy bubble letters with a playful cat-dino theme. This font is bursting with personality, and it didn’t take long for me to see how it could elevate my shop’s visual identity.

Kitty Rawr for Candle Labels and Boutique Packaging

Testing Kitty Rawr on candle labels was a no-brainer. The font’s bubbly, rounded edges give a soft, whimsical feel that pairs perfectly with natural or rustic-themed products. I used it for a label on a lavender-scented soy candle, and the result was charming without being overwhelming. The font’s playful style adds a sense of fun that makes the product more approachable, especially for customers looking for unique, handcrafted items.

For boutique packaging, I tried using Kitty Rawr on a gift box for a custom soap set. The font’s bold yet friendly look made the packaging stand out on my shop listing. It’s ideal for short phrases like “Handmade with Love” or “Natural & Pure,” and it works well with both minimalist and colorful designs. Just be mindful of spacing—Kitty Rawr has a generous x-height, so it may need some adjustment when paired with smaller text elements.

Kitty Rawr for Greeting Cards and Wedding Invitations

I recently designed a set of birthday cards for a client, and Kitty Rawr was the perfect fit for the title and decorative elements. Its lively character brings energy to any card, making it ideal for kids’ parties, birthdays, or even quirky thank-you notes. I paired it with a simple sans serif font for the body text, which helped balance the overall design without clashing.

When it came to wedding invitations, I experimented with Kitty Rawr as a header for a rustic barn wedding. The font added a touch of whimsy that complemented the venue’s aesthetic. It worked best for titles and headings rather than long paragraphs, but its expressive swashes and ligatures gave the invitations a custom, handcrafted feel. For more formal events, I’d recommend pairing it with a classic serif font to maintain elegance while still keeping the design fresh.

Kitty Rawr for Digital Printables and Planner Pages

As someone who creates digital printables, I was eager to see how Kitty Rawr would perform in a downloadable template. I used it for a printable wall art piece featuring a cat-dino illustration. The font’s large, open shapes made it easy to read at different sizes, and the playful style added a nice visual contrast to the artwork. It’s also great for planner pages, where it can be used for headers, section titles, or motivational quotes.

One thing to note is that Kitty Rawr isn’t ideal for very small text or dense information. If you’re planning to use it for a checklist or detailed instructions, consider pairing it with a more readable font. But for decorative purposes, it’s a standout choice that brings creativity and charm to any project.

Kitty Rawr for Tote Bags and Merchandise Design

I tested Kitty Rawr on a tote bag design for a local artisan market. The font looked great on a large canvas, and its bold, bubbly style made the message pop. I used it for a phrase like “Cats + Dinos = Awesomeness” and paired it with a simple background to keep the focus on the text. It’s perfect for merchandise that needs a fun, eye-catching design, especially for niche markets like pet lovers or fans of retro aesthetics.

For t-shirts and other clothing items, I found that Kitty Rawr works best on larger text. Smaller sizes can become too busy, so it’s important to test the font at different scales before printing. When used correctly, it adds a unique flair that sets your products apart from the competition.
